Custody Proof is a web app for one parent who needs an organized custody record — overnights, missed exchanges, expenses, and the files that go with them — without asking the other parent to join anything.

It is a documentation tool. It is not a messaging app, not a shared calendar, and not a law firm.

What we build

Most “co-parenting apps” are built around a shared account. Both parents get invited. Both parents see the calendar. Both parents receive notifications. That design is useful when both people will participate.

Custody Proof is built for the other situation: you need a record, and you do not need — or cannot get — the other parent’s cooperation to keep it.

In Custody Proof you can:

  • Turn a written schedule, or a plain-English description of one, into a recurring calendar you review before it saves.
  • Log overnights and timed day visits as two different things, so overnight percentages are not inflated by Wednesday dinners.
  • Compare the plan to what you actually logged, and confirm the record as you go.
  • Flag missed exchanges and other incidents on your own timeline. Flagging one does not notify anyone.
  • Store screenshots, photos, and documents in an encrypted evidence vault, in seven categories.
  • Keep a child-expense ledger with receipts and a running reimbursement balance.
  • Export PDF reports, CSVs, and a sample-style Court Packet when you want to hand something to your attorney.

Vera, the AI assistant, is an optional in-app upgrade on the Case Builder plan. She turns a voice note, a pasted thread, or a photo into a draft. You review every draft. She does not guess dates. Voice audio is not stored.

What we do not do

  • We do not invite, email, text, or notify the other parent.
  • We do not give the other parent an account, a view, or a login.
  • We do not provide legal advice, and we do not form an attorney-client relationship with you.
  • We do not promise that any export will be admitted in any court. Admissibility is your attorney’s question.
  • We do not sell the content of your logs, messages, or files for advertising.

If you choose to share a record, you do it yourself — by exporting a file and handing it over.

  6. Money-back on the first charge. New accounts are charged at signup (no trial). The first charge is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Cancel in Settings; canceling does not delete records.

None of this is a review, a star rating, or a court endorsement. It is how you verify the company that runs the app.

Plans, in one paragraph

New customers subscribe to the standard Custody Proof plan at $14.75/month or $144/year, charged at signup. There is no trial for new accounts. You can cancel anytime from Settings and keep access through the period you paid for. Your first charge is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee (self-serve in Settings, or email support). Case Builder ($29/month or $278/year) is an in-app upgrade that adds Vera, exhibit reports, and priority support. Details are in Plans and billing.

Privacy, in one paragraph

Evidence files and receipts are encrypted (AES-256) before they are stored, in private storage tied to your account. Connections use HTTPS. Payment-card numbers are handled by Stripe, not by Custody Proof. Analytics measure feature usage as counts — not the content of your notes, names, or transcripts. You can export your data from Reports at any time. Canceling a subscription does not delete your records. Deleting an account is a separate request to support. More: Your account, data, and privacy.
