HOW TO READ THESE GUIDES

Different authorities.
Different legal effects.

Every guide is built from that state’s official statutes, court rules, forms and court self-help pages, and each one links the sources it draws on. Laws and local practice change, so always confirm against the current source and your own order.

Each state is labeled by what kind of schedule its law provides. The labels mean:

Statutory schedule

A schedule described in statute, subject to eligibility, exceptions, and the governing order.

Statewide guidelines

Guidelines whose force and application depend on the adopting authority and the case.

Optional statewide model

A planning model. It does not automatically become an enforceable family calendar.

Local schedules only

Local examples with a limited geographic and procedural scope.

No fixed statewide schedule identified

No fixed statewide calendar was identified within the reviewed sources. This is a bounded research finding.
