Will the other parent know I am using Custody Proof?
No. Custody Proof is a one-parent product. There is no shared account, no invitation, and no notification. Nothing you log is sent to the other parent. If you share a record, you do it by exporting a file yourself.
Is this a co-parenting app?
No. Co-parenting apps assume both parents will participate. Custody Proof is a private documentation tool for your records, your evidence, and your preparation. The other parent is never involved.
How is custody time counted?
By overnights, the way family courts commonly do. Friday after school to Sunday evening is Friday night plus Saturday night — 2 nights, not 3 days. A stay from January 1 to January 11 is 10 nights. Timed day visits are tracked separately as a count and hours and never go into the overnight percentage. How courts count parenting time.
Do I have to enter my custody schedule by hand?
No. Upload your agreement (PDF or Word) or describe the schedule in plain words — for example, “every other weekend plus alternating Thanksgiving.” You review the pattern week by week before anything is saved. Unknown dates are not guessed.
Can I attach evidence to an entry?
Yes. Photos, screenshots, PDFs, and other files attach to the incident or expense they belong to. Evidence files are encrypted (AES-256) before they are stored. Only your account can see the vault.
Can I use Custody Proof reports in court?
The reports are designed to be clear and court-friendly — timestamps, tables, optional planned-vs-actual, exhibits. Whether and how records are used in court varies by jurisdiction and case. That is a question for your attorney. Custody Proof is a documentation tool and does not give legal advice.
I already have months of screenshots. Is it too late to start?
No. You can add past custody time and incidents with their real dates and upload evidence you already have. On the Case Builder plan, Vera can turn pasted threads or screenshots into dated drafts you review before saving.
How much does it cost, and what if it is not for me?
